Desert Sojourn


The desert on the east side of Tortugas Mountain was beautiful this morning, but a little chilly. As usual, I had to take photos of the Organ Mountains.

This fire was burning on the west side of I-25, far from where Research Associate Becca and I were hiking.

Desert Dog scopes out the territory.

Interesting rock, huh?



This handsome critter is a Loggerhead Shrike.
