Friday Free-For-All

It felt good to get out and exercise this morning.  It felt warmer today because the wind wasn't blowing.  We ran into a guy with two dogs who we see fairly frequently in the desert.  He said, "It's good to see you."  I said, "Nice to see you, too."
It reminded me of the recent hikes I took at Thunderbird Conservation Park in Glendale, where almost every hiker I encountered had a pleasant "Good morning" greeting.  Funny how simple phatic communion can often make you feel good.
