Long, Cool Hike

The western slope of Tortugas Mountain
It felt really good out there this morning as Becca and I did a long hike west of Tortugas Mountain.  No encounter with Chihuahua dogs.  No looney-tune hunters shooting off rounds for the hell of it.  Only a brief hello to a woman jogger and the elderly gentleman who always hikes with a stick.  65 degrees with a cool breeze was perfect for a long trek.
