Autumn Day in the Desert

Here are some images from a very pleasant hike Becca and I took to the west of Tortugas Mountain this morning.  There were a few other hikers out enjoying the mountain environment, but we only passed close enough to one man to shout hello.  He's a frequent hiker who always leaves from the Sunset Parking area and hikes to the top of Tortugas.  The weather was extremely nice--very fall-like.  It's supposed to warm into the low 80s later today, but that's fall in the Chihuahuan Desert.
