Feeling Like the Dog Days

It was incredibly hot on the hike this morning, and there was absolutely no wind or breeze to speak of.  It's really tough on the body when you don't have the benefit of evaporative cooling.  The only fortunate thing was the absence of high humidity, though the dewpoint was probably in the low 40s.  You know it's uncomfortable when high-stamina Becca is seeking shade at every turn.
