Strike Up the Band

Looking back at the source of the noise
Not much to say today except to note that the marching band at Centennial High School was practicing before 8:00 this morning, and the sound was carrying all over the area.  As I watched a university pickup truck make its way to the top of Tortugas Mountain it occurred to me that the music would even be heard up there, but probably not as loudly as in the foothills because of the echoing effect of the mountain.

At least the music from the marching band wasn't as obnoxious as the music you heard the other day.
