What better way to start the week than a desert hike?
Pleasant here today, Packrat (high forecast to be near 70F with mostly sunny skies), but rain tomorrow and much colder air. The cold air will persist through the end of the week, with high's in the 50s.
I like the image of the desert grassland with the jagged mountains.
Thanks, Scott. 50s aren't bad unless they're wet, damp 50s. I had a friend who lived in Portland, Oregon for awhile, and she said the winters there were miserable: cold, damp air that went right to your bones. Not the kind of weather for me.
