Early Outing

Ocotillo moon
I took Willow and Frio on our hike this morning sans Dr. K who went shopping.

The three of us descended LDR-A, crossed to the northern bank of the Tellbrook Arroyo and began exploring side arroyos we've followed numerous times in the past.

Recent rains have provided ample precipitation for the countless bouquets of Desert Zinnia blooming all over.  A few photos of the plant are uploaded here.

Fringed Amaranth

Barrel Cactus buds and fruit

This & next 2:  Hairy False Goldenaster

An arroyo we explored

Huge Banana Yucca

This & next:  Willow and Frio

The rest:  bouquets of Desert Zinnia
