A Bit Less Toasty

Yucca elata putting up a Christmas tree
It was fairly hot when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I hit the trail this morning, but just a tad cooler than yesterday morning.  We're headed for a high of 84F today.

We did our usual hike, spotting a Swainson's Hawk flying to perch atop a favorite yucca, and, later, riding thermals while hunting for prey.

After the trek we returned home to do some yard work, primarily trimming the large, bushy mesquite that's nearest the rear of the house.
