Four Again

Soaptree Yucca fruit
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our regular hike this morning; most notable part was the Texas Horned Lizard we almost didn't see due to its excellent camouflage.

The temperature while we were out there was quite bearable because of a cool wind that blew throughout our trek.  Apparently there's a Red Flag warning for high winds this afternoon.

Other than lizards and birds we saw nobody else in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert today, just as we like it.
