Explosive Hike

1st 2:  clouds and the Organs
Dr. K, Willow and I did our usual hike this morning.  Loud explosions--probably from White Sands Missile Range--spooked Willow quite a bit while we were out there, but she managed to cope well.

Hard to describe how difficult it is to be on a trek without Frio, For him being out in the desert was the be-all and end-all of his existence; he liked nothing better than to spot--and sometimes chase--critters (usually jackrabbits).

Time will blunt the pain we feel over his absence, but it will never heal the loss we've experienced.

I like the two photos of the misty mountains.

So hard to believe that Frio isn't with us anymore. I miss him so much.
