We didn't see any other idiots out in the desert today; some nature enthusiasts opt for a later start, but I've never subscribed to that routine.
We made it back home by 8:30, but we got a pretty early start on the hike.

The photo of the snake bed gives me the creeps. Anything about snakes gives me the creeps.
