It was cold when Dr. K, Willow and I began our hike this morning, but the absence of wind and bright sunshine made conditions quite bearable.

In the distance far north of us we saw a guy bushwhacking with two white dogs; they were the only outdoor enthusiasts we spotted out there.

We followed our usual route today, and all involved (3) felt good about the exercise.
