Pleasant Wind

Southwest of Tortugas on the middle branch arroyo trail
The early morning wind seemed to dissipate any remnant of yesterday's humidity; we did get a brief rainstorm yesterday afternoon, but probably only about .05" of precipitation.  We did our regular route today spotting along the way two separate hikers bushwhacking in the desert northwest of us:  Pickup Truck Lady and her dog and Elderly Two Stick Woman, who we haven't seen in ages.  They were going to finish their treks well ahead of us.  The wind made the 71F temperature feel even cooler than it was during our exploration.
