Drying Out, Heating Up

To the southwest
Willow and I did our regular hike this morning.  Not only did we see the Pickup-Truck-Lady's truck parked alongside the road on the drive to the trailhead, but I saw her (though not her dog) hiking southward to cross the Tellbrook Arroyo.  She was the only outdoor enthusiast we spotted today.  We took many stops because the day had already heated up a lot, and forecasts call for even higher temps in the days ahead.

I like the photo of our favorite Yucca. Fortunately it has survived the summer heat and limited rain.
