| 1st 2: American Kestrel dropping something and eating |
Dr. K, Willow and I did our regular hike this morning. We saw no other outdoor enthusiasts in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert. It was 36F when we got up today, 42F when we started the trek; but because there was no wind the conditions were quite bearable. I didn't post a blog yesterday due to the presence of visitors: my brother, sister-in-law and niece all on the first leg of a cross-country trip from Arizona to our native Ohio.

Lovely photos of the American Kestrel. My favorites are the first 3 that you posted. I wonder what it was eating?
