Dust Bowl

Only the central image here gives an indication of how dusty it was out around Tortugas this morning.  It wasn't windy at all during our hike, but the dust still lingered in the air after the drubbing we got from the wind yesterday.  It's become windy again this afternoon, but there is no blowing dust as yet.  These are the kind of days that really test your resolve to enjoy the desert as much as possible.  By the way, there was only one other car in the parking area when we started and finished our trek.
