This & next 2: Soaptree Yucca blooming in LDR-A arroyo |
Willow and I took the morning hike without Dr. K today; she stayed behind to look after her backyard flowers, to make sure they were getting enough water from the sprinkler we have on a water timer. Our daily trek was especially interesting because I finally got to photograph an Adonis Blazingstar flower fully opened. It's a gorgeous blossom. Several Nipple Beehive Cacti were just closing up shop for the day, but I got to take a few photos of the partially opened flowers. After the hike Willow and I returned home to get ready for our trip to the high country, where we all are now.
