Late Post in the Mountains

A jogger (center right) makes his way along Geothermal Road
Left the hot lower desert behind this morning in order to strike for the high country.  Only problem:  it's been in the mid-80s in the Sacramento Mountains.  Fortunately, the overnight lows are in the high 50s.  That goes a long way in ameliorating the heat.  We got up here about noon, had lunch then did some work around the place.  There's been no precipitation here since the last time we were up; this according to our Orion rain gauge.  We sure would like to get some precip.
