Rain Low/Snow High

Unless otherwise captioned, all photos are Snow on the Organs
A fairly cold start (36F) was made more uncomfortable by a persistent wind that caused conditions to be even chillier.  Nevertheless, we all hiked up to Second Arroyo, stopped for a short water break, and then bushwhacked over to First Arroyo.

We exited the arroyo and headed south on LDR, stopping quite a few times along the way for me to take photos of the gorgeous Organ Mountains, partially clothed in white.

Late yesterday the lower elevations of our desert got some on-and-off showers that transitioned into snow in the mountains.  The sun, clouds and patches of blue sky made for some awesome vistas all during our trek today.
