Amigos del Desierto

Willow and Frio in Second Arroyo
Up to Second Arroyo and back for the friends of the desert this morning.  Saw no one else out there today.

It sure felt hot during our exploration; we're headed for a high of 95F this afternoon.  I'm well beyond the point of hoping the weather will change soon, that cooler temperatures are just a few days away.  Not to be in the desert, though, and I fondly recall the cool fall weather back in my native Ohio.

Both Frio and Willow were well behaved today, which is a great relief to my aging body; sometimes dealing with them is the equivalent of lifting weights at the local gym.

The desert looks more yellow in these photos than it has after all of our rains. Nice photo of Willow and Frio taking it easy during their hike.
