Back in the Saddle with Willow

Thought I saw a rock move
Cut the hike a little short this morning because I had to take Dr. K to the eye doctor for a scheduled appointment; I needed to drive because they were dilating her eyes.  Our trek was a good one because Willow was able to rejoin Frio and me in the desert; her limp had disappeared.

We went up to the shady mesquite tree on LDR before turning around.  It had already begun to feel quite hot by the time we got back to the CR-V.  We're schedule to hit 96F today.  I sure wish the hot weather would come to an end.

We saw the male half of the man/woman jogging team we usually see out there on Saturdays, but we had no encounter with him.  He was ahead of us on our way out, and behind us on our way in.
