Not Yet Running Against the Wind

Huge tree in Tellbrook Arroyo
Willow, Frio and I got an early start this morning primarily to beat the high winds that were predicted for later today.

We retraced part of our hike of yesterday, but turned around at the midway point and headed back.  There were two people out there with dogs, but we only saw them when we were piling out of the CR-V and never again.

The winds have made their appearance as of forty-five minutes ago:  25-35 mph with gusts up to 50.  There's already dust in the air, and it seems like it will only worsen as the day goes on.  Glad we're not still out there.
