Branching Off Again

First 4:  Soaptree Yuccas
Willow, Frio and I did the exact same hike as yesterday except when we were near the head of the left arroyo branch we headed east and climbed up a steep grass-covered hill to the top of a ridge; we hiked north on that ridge for a ways until dropping back down into the arroyo.

Then we hiked down to the intersection with the right branch, turned south again and followed the trail into the arroyo's head, and then climbed the steep hill that leads to the upper flatland road.

Just as we were about to drive out onto Tellbrook the guy who walks the road with his Yellow Lab approached the intersection.  We waved to each other as the Heelers and I drove by.
