Low 60s

This & next 4:  Soaptree Yuccas
We did our normal hike this morning, and weather conditions were better than the previous two days.  It was 31F at start and 40F at finish.  We're headed for a high of 62F.  Not bad for early January.

Willow and Frio enjoyed every minute of the trek today, reveling in the scents of the Chihuahuan Desert.  Several times they acted as if other critters were nearby, but I saw none.

We also saw no other people, which is always a real plus for our desert outings.
