Delightful Breeze

Heelers in my shadow
Willow, Frio and I got in an excellent early morning hike today, embracing the cooler weather and reveling in the cool breeze that made conditions feel normal for this time of year.

We did our normal hike with the usual excessive number of stops I always make to take photos; got some pretty good ones on this outing.

Surprisingly--even though local meteorologists had forecasted otherwise--the wind has grown overly strong this afternoon.  I had to shut the living room door because half of our desert front yard was blowing into the house.

Gorgeous photos, Packrat. I really like the ones of the Swainson's Hawk, and you really outdid yourself with the photos of the Scott's Oriole on the Ocotillo. Some of your best ever.
