Headed down LDR-A
  |
Blisteringly hot in the desert this morning when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I began our hike, and it was sizzling hot by the time we finished.
Our most notable critter sighting today was the beautiful Long-nosed Leopard Lizard I photographed.  He was quite cooperative standing just feet ahead of the Heelers in an ancillary branch of Left Branch Arroyo.
We took a few aborted rest breaks due to ants, and several real shade and water breaks where ants were at a minimum.  We all were glad when the morning trek came to an end.
