Warming Trend

1st 3:  sky at start
We're headed for a high in the mid-60s today, but it was still quite nippy out in the desert this morning; my app read 30F at the start of our outing.

While hiking toward the mountains on the east/west cross trail we heard (barking) and then saw the Basset people and their hounds heading north on LDR-A.  We were well away from.

We spotted no other nature enthusiasts during the trek, not even any denizens of the desert; they have the good sense to remain sheltered until the day heats up.
