Earth Day 2025

Haynes Canyon

Another forest hike behind the cabin for Dr. K, Willow and me on this Earth Day 2025.  We did a longer trek today, in part because we were trying to find the large hedgehog cactus pictured in several images below.  We had to search a bit for it, but not extensively.  Early this morning, when I took Willow out for her constitutional, we encountered the two mule deer does pictured here.  They were curious about us, as was Willow about them.  She listened to me to stay put rather than launch a chase that would have spooked the two beauties.
