Standard Route Deviation

Rot-from-the-head-down moon
Dr. K, Willow and I did a forest hike on the mountain behind the cabin this morning.  We altered our regular route halfway through because I spotted an animal (perhaps a bird) that crossed rapidly in a space far left of our position.  We had no trouble finding our way back to the cabin, though.  After the outing Dr. K and I drove down to Alamogordo to do some shopping at Lowe's Signature Market and to gas up the CR-V.  The grocery store has a gas station right below its parking lot, and getting fuel there is really convenient.
