Precipitation/Perspiration

I perspired more this morning than on any other so far this season; that's because the air was totally saturated with moisture from recent storms.  Additonally, there was almost no breeze to speak of in the Chihuahuan Desert, making for a really soggy hike.  Even Becca seemed slightly stressed from the weather conditions, although she never lets a little discomfort get in the way of her fun.

It's a good thing you're not hiking here in Virginia. We've had 9 days of over 95 degrees, and more to come!

It's miserably hot here in the PA Piedmont, too, but we sure could use some of your precipitation, Packrat. The soil here is parched! We could get a break on Sunday--with severe thunderstorms.
