Trekking on Thursday

Ocotillo tip
We had a healthy rain yesterday afternoon, and the storm's remnants were plain to see and feel:  greener flora, moisture-compacted desert earth, and very high humidity.  It was good to get out into the desert after the downpour, and to experience this arid land during monsoon season.  A few other outdoor enthusiasts were trekking around, too, getting exercise while enjoying Mother Nature.

Great images, as usual, Packrat. I've seen so few Roadrunners in my life that even a picture is a treat--and in a yucca no less!

We're getting decent rain here in the northern Piedmont today--at last!
