Monsoon season, for sure.
We were supposed to get "showers in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon" yesterday (Wednesday). Instead, it rained (sometimes heavily) pretty much all day--a washout. On inspection, though, our creek didn't rise much and the water was running clear, not full of sediment like it gets when we've had a lot of rain.
All-day rains are so beneficial if they don't come down too heavily, Scott. But if you live someplace where the ground is already saturated they can be devastating.
