Too Many on the Mountain

You can't blame people for getting out early to enjoy the outdoors; nor can you blame them for wanting to beat the wind, which promises to get ugly later today.  The crowded mountain made for a less-than-stellar hike, though, especially because we had an encounter with some loose dogs that could have proven to be unpleasant.  Fortunately the two canines--one of which was a brindle Pitbull--were very friendly.  Nevertheless, their owners obviously couldn't control their animals.  The dogs came running full speed at us.  The woman owner's "Sorry about that" was unconvincing.
