Too Many on the Mountain

You can't blame people for getting out early to enjoy the outdoors; nor can you blame them for wanting to beat the wind, which promises to get ugly later today.  The crowded mountain made for a less-than-stellar hike, though, especially because we had an encounter with some loose dogs that could have proven to be unpleasant.  Fortunately the two canines--one of which was a brindle Pitbull--were very friendly.  Nevertheless, their owners obviously couldn't control their animals.  The dogs came running full speed at us.  The woman owner's "Sorry about that" was unconvincing.

In the last photo it almost looks like a mushroom cloud over the mountains.

It REALLY bugs me when people who obviously have no control over their dog make a comment like, "Sorry about that!" Grrr...
