Beyond Strolling on Sunday

Things have suddenly started heating up around here.  We're heading for a high of 90 F.  Unfortunately, for me, it's that time of year.  Dr. K loves the heat.  Becca is like me--preferring cooler temps, too.  We had two encounters with runners this morning, both coming up on us from behind.  The first was a man I call the "Chartreuse Goose" because he used to drive an old chartreuse-colored VW bug.  The second jogger was a woman I see running around the mountain quite often.  Dr. K, Becca and I did a long, exhausting trek around two-thirds of Tortugas.

Fortunately the flies weren't so bad today, so we had a very pleasant hike.
