Waiting for a Doughnut Hole

We were warned to expect a lot of precipitation from the remnants of Tropical Storm Odile, and, boy, are we getting it.  Dr. K had to turn around three-fourths of her way down to UTEP because the roads were impassable.  And, with the exception of getting Becca out very early to do her business, she and I have been unable to go on a hike.  It has literally been raining steadily for hours straight.  The roof in our patio enclosure has been leaking a little.  Under its external overhang birds have been seeking shelter from the storm.

Addendum:

I was able to get Becca out for a half-hour hike at around 1:00 pm. It sprinkled on us the entire time, and we were both sufficiently wet when we got home. Hope Becca's happy now.
