4th Rainiest January on Record

Yesterday's late-afternoon rainbow
According to the Las Cruces Sun-News we're having the fourth wettest January on record, and it's just the 19th day of the month.  Local meteorologists are predicting more storms for tomorrow and Saturday accompanied by strong winds--some gusting as high as 50 mph.  Fortunately for our trek this morning--even though it was a bit chilly--Becca and I had good weather:  sunshine with just a breeze or two.  Now, in the early afternoon, the winds have already picked up, and there are huge lenticular clouds over the Organ Mountains.
Eager to start the critter search
