Unremarkable Trek

Starting in the mountain's shadow
Becca and I did a fairly long hike west of Tortugas Mountain this morning, bushwhacking far into the outback in hopes of spotting remarkable critters.  Sadly, there were none; not to say we didn't thoroughly enjoy our trek.  We almost always do.  We'll have to wait for another more propitious time to encounter some denizens of this Chihuahuan Desert.
