Mid-Week Jaunt

West side of the mountain
46F when Becca and I headed for Tortugas Mountain this morning.  Since the temperature was due to rise quickly I wore only my L.L. Bean Mountain Classic Jacket with a long-sleeve Craghopper's shirt underneath.  I did have trousers on, so don't get the wrong idea. Geez, with all these clothing ads you'd think I'd monetize this blog.  As expected, the weather conditions were quite pleasant, and there was no significant breeze to make it feel otherwise.  When we got back to Whitey the CR-V we saw our pal, Jimmy, waiting next to it.  He had come over to say hello and chat for a while.  We did just that as Becca lay inside of our vehicle taking it easy.  Jimmy and I weren't able to come up with any suggestions about how to make the world a better place to live, so we kept the conversation to about twenty minutes in duration.
