At the side of LDR-A

It was very unpleasant out there this morning. The cold front coming in is being carried on strong winds, and even though the cooler air has yet to reach us it felt a bit chilly in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert. Our low temperature tonight is supposed to drop to near freezing--33F.
Although we saw Mr. and Mrs. Big Hat's SUV parked at the side of Tellbrook when we reached the trailhead this morning we never spotted them; nor did we see anybody else braving the elements like we four intrepid explorers.
Stopped at a gas station on the way home to fill old Mr. Whitey the CR-V up.

I'm glad you were able to take some nice photos despite the harsh wind.
