Bad Behavior Friday

Yesterday's late afternoon moon
Bad outing today.  In the remote outback we encountered a guy hiking with his two Brittany Spaniels who were bounding through the desert off lead.  The man didn't see us, so I loudly said, "Are your dogs friendly?"  He said they were as the two approached my pair of feral animals.

Both Frio and Willow behaved very badly, barking, snarling, whining, pulling at their leads.  I could barely hold them in place while the guy and his spaniels passed by.  I did tell him that my two dogs were on leads, but in hindsight I should have warned him that my Heelers weren't friendly.

Needless to say, that incident totally ruined the morning outing.

I really like that first image of the Loggerhead Shrike.

Someday the Heelers will stop being so reactive.
