Fewer Photos, Please

We didn't quite beat the wind on our morning trek today, but we missed the worst of it.  Now (2:00 p.m.) it's really bad!

Did our regular hike, though we added an additional bit by exploring an area east of Right Branch Arroyo that we'd never been in before; saw many blooming yuccas and Claret Cup Cacti there.

As we were driving out after the trek we came upon a guy and Basset Hound near a car parked on LDR just off Tellbrook.  I was surprised to see a vehicle there; it's an unsafe place to park.

I love the photo of the Cactus Wren on the Yucca flowers. And also the close-ups of the new growth on the Prickly Pear cactus.
