Cholla Surprise

Black-chinned Hummingbird
We had a good, semi-long hike this morning, adding distance by doing a bit of bushwhacking over to the saddle south of 4210 hill; no Swainson's Hawks atop the yucca today.

We did see the Basset people and their hounds descending LDR-A while we were on the east/west cross trail.  Willow spotted them later when they were bushwhacking through the desert headed home.

After we got home I went to Albertsons to do my share of the weekly grocery shopping; wasn't too crowded over there, and I finished in about an hour.  My kind of shopping:  in-and-out.
