Amarillo, Giallo, Yellow

This & next:  Scott's Oriole female
Dr. K, Willow and I had a pleasant outing this morning.  The weather was good:  sunny and relatively warm with no breeze.  We didn't see the Basset people and their hounds, but we thought we spotted Pickup-Truck-Lady and her dog bushwhacking through the desert northeast of us.  Although we had a bit of rain in recent days it's obvious from the parched flora that we need a lot more; only a few flowers are blooming.

Willow between left and middle branch arroyos

This & next:  same prickly pear flowers

Just a bite for breakfast

This & next:  Bunny Ears Cactus

The rest:  Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis)
