Lowdown on the Highland

Ash-throated Flycatcher (rear view)
Becca and I did an early-morning hike in the low desert today, but we got a late start on heading to the high country because we were waiting for our garbage to be picked up; we had to give up because the garbage truck was much later than usual.  Still, we managed to roll into our mountain property at about 2:20 this afternoon, plenty of time to do a few tasks including the setup of our new Roku device.  It's pretty hot up here--82F at 7,000 feet--and the temps only go up in the coming days.  The lows, though, will be in the mid-50s.
