Another Cloudy Morn

This & the next 4:  using the Haze Filter
Set out on yet another cloudy morning today, a welcome respite from the heat.  When we crossed the Tellbrook Arroyo I decided to explore the area to the west and just north of the arroyo, hoping to find a clearly defined trail to follow.  No such luck.  We ended up entering the new arroyo and following it north back up to its intersection with LDR.

From there we entered Second Arroyo and spent a little time drinking water and taking a break before heading back.

Just as we were about to crest the ridge into the upper flatland a man and woman came over the hill headed our way.  I got Frio and Willow just off the road to let the hikers pass, and the woman thanked me for so doing.  Willow was whimpering to get at the humans, and Frio suddenly barked at them as if they were interlopers.  I had to give each dog's lead a tug to get their attention before resuming our hike.  I was very disappointed with our Heelers' behavior.  What was shaping up to be a solid A grade turned into a mediocre C.
