Cooler and Muggy

This & the next:  along the upper flatland road
Definitely cooler for our morning hike today, but quite muggy.  At first there was a slight helping breeze, but it disappeared until we had climbed back into the upper flatland.

Both Frio and Willow were very well behaved during the trek, not even getting excited when we encountered the man and woman runners who we bump into fairly often.  Humans just exchanged brief salutations, though, so Heelers didn't get a chance to react.

No road construction to drive through coming or going, but presumably that will change again tomorrow.  I can't wait until they finish this job.

How beautiful the desert looks. I especially like the photo with the sunbeams coming down from the clouds.
