A Few Too Many Pics

This & the next:  view from the upper flatland
It was a long bushwhack for Willow, Frio and me this morning.  We crossed the Tellbrook Arroyo and headed northeast into the desert west of Tortugas Mountain.

There were lots of pretty flowers out and about, and we ran into a veritable Barrel Cactus bonanza in one area that had several sandy arroyos running through it.  People probably tire of seeing photos of Barrel Cactus blossoms, but I never tire of photographing them.

We saw nobody else during our sojourn today, and that was fine with us.
