First Sun in Days

In the upper flatland
The sun shone brightly this morning, the humidity was sky high, and the three amigos got baked during our desert hike.  We trekked up to First Arroyo, went in for a short respite, and then headed back.

We saw no other nature enthusiasts in our area today, and that's understandable; who wants to broil under the desert sun?

The best part of our outing was getting back into the waiting CR-V and cranking the air conditioning up for the ride home.
